Because nobody here touches your website.
That sounds like a slogan, so here is what it means concretely. You fill in one form. After that the redesign, the build, the server it runs on, the DNS, the security certificate and the going-live all happen on their own — start to finish, without a designer, a developer, or a ticket with a number on it. It works as quickly at two in the morning on a Sunday as at two on a Tuesday afternoon, because there is no queue to be in.
The expensive part of a website was never the website. It was the hours.
A studio's price is people: the designer, the project manager, the developer who sets up hosting, the person who chases you for the logo. Ten hours of that costs more than a year of everything we run put together. We removed the hours, not the work — the work still happens, it just happens by itself, and a system that builds one website at two in the morning builds the next one for the same nothing.
Servers stopped being expensive a long time ago. Certificates are free if you automate them. Domains cost what the registry charges. What stays expensive is human attention, and the only way to sell a professional website at this price is to spend none of it on routine work.
So the fair question is what got cut. Here is the honest split:
What we did NOT cut
- Your own server. Not a slice of a machine shared with a thousand strangers. This is the first corner cheap hosting cuts, and it is the one you feel — somebody else's busy morning becomes your slow morning.
- The padlock, for ever. A certificate covering your domain and everything under it, renewing itself. Elsewhere this is a line item.
- The domain at cost. No markup, and no cheap first year followed by an expensive second one.
- Your freedom to leave. See the last question.
What you genuinely do not get
- A designer on a call, talking through your brand.
- Someone to phone at three in the afternoon to argue about a shade of blue.
- Bespoke functionality built to order — a booking engine, a members' area, an integration with your stock system.
That is the trade, stated plainly. You are buying a very good website produced without human hours, not an agency relationship at a discount. If the relationship is what you need, an agency is the right answer and worth its fee.
An agency could match the result. It could not match the price — and it certainly could not do it while everyone was asleep.
