Mass Website Deployment Workflow

Creating a scalable website application is a challenging task. WebAsOne is a platform to develop scalable SaaS — and deploy thousands of sites with a single script.

Mass website deployment at scale

You created a fantastic design with amazing features. Most likely, others can replicate. The mission of WebAsOne is to copy similar websites and integrate them into WebAsOne's existing, growing platform. The operational cost of delivering similar functionality with extended integrations will be much lower.

Scale by Multiplying

The common WebAsOne website is a PHP file without any database involvement, like a static HTML file. The platform uses Akamai Cloud's shared VPS with a management server (2CPU/4GB) and three hosting servers (1CPU/2GB each).

The local listing service uses city/state subdomain websites. California has its own domain and server, with load distribution through DNS updates. "Serving millions of users is straightforward. Developing this kind of app without worrying about volume is much easier."

Deployment at Scale

The website-generating script deploys 1,600+ websites in approximately 7 hours. The architecture supports master websites with custom overrides for local content across organizational subdivisions.

Once you have one successful setup, you can duplicate it. This limits the number of servers that the host company needs to provide — and keeps operational costs predictably low as you grow.
