WebAsOne CMS and Networked Websites
by WebAsOne
WebAsOne CMS, Content Management System
The CMS is part of the management website. There is no limit on the number of users who can access a website. The webmaster creates shortcuts and assigns them to users of different levels of privilege. Upon updates, it will auto-save at various time intervals. The primary goal is to streamline the high-quality website deployment process at the lowest operational cost, with fast, straightforward iterations.
The editable content within the module includes front-end HTML/JS/CSS/SVG; back-end HTML/CSS/JS/PHP.
Examples of streamlined processes
Add an image background. Select and upload three image sources, crop and darken them, compress them, tint them, and convert them to the WebP format. Done.
Embed SVG for a simple flow chart for a blog. Done.
If any standard workflow is missing, add it if feasible within the current resources. WebAsOne is a process-streamining platform, not a website platform.
Blocks content inheritance
The WebAsOne website page's default will inherit all blocks from all parent pages. If both parents have the same block, the nearest one will be selected.
What are Networked Websites?
Networked Websites are a group of related websites. The relations could be a franchise, a large company, or a non-profit with subsidiaries.
Websites can specify shareable blocks or share entire website blocks with exceptions. Websites can also choose to inherit blocks from target websites or from the whole website.
Website D is the shadow website of the target website. The target website will be a duplicate of the website D, plus the shareable blocks. Websites A-D are CMS-managed as standalone websites, which may be regular websites or for content staging. The websites could reside on different servers. There are no limits on the number of shareable websites.
