Characteristics of the single-stage website platform

The single-stage platform has two states. The “ data state” involves a complex structure of the entire website (web data), stored in a directory of the file system on the management server. The processing engine processes the web data. The final state is a “ website state.” All changes, whether small or large, will undergo the same complete process. The process is highly robust, reliable, and reversible. For example, to change a theme color, first make a change to the web data in the management server and then update the website accordingly.

Almost all parts of the website can be safely and instantly changed — automatic backup snapshots are available every 3, 5, 10, 30 minutes, 1, 3, and 5 hours, as well as 1, 3, and 5 days. These snapshots can be restored instantly.

The WebAsOne blocks could be (1) Bootstrap 5, (2) Vue 3, React, or Svelte 5, (3) a jQuery plugin, (4) Mini Apps, JS/HTML/CSS with PHP for backend, or (5) Open Source.

The user performs updates on the management server and then transfers them to the remote hosted server. The resulting index.php file behaves like a static PHP file, resulting in excellent performance. WebAsOne website hosting is available in shared or single-hosted configurations. A $12 monthly management fee can manage 50 remote-hosted, average-sized websites.

The WebAsOne website uses Bootstrap 5. The life span of the website is the same as Bootstrap 5.

Customers have three iterations to complete their first version of the website. Customers have the option to pay extra to beautify the design of the website. A different designer can accomplish the extra iteration.

For website applications, the requirements will be according to the project. The design and applications part is naturally separated from the architecture.

Maintenance stage

With the single-stage, there is no difference between creating and maintenance states.

WebAsOne itemizes the cost of common change requests from customers — for example, a fixed price for adding a page or changing the hero design. The single-stage platform is robust. These changes are straightforward, and most changes can be done in minutes on a live website. Complicated updates will be handled on a case-by-case basis. WebAsOne aims to offer transparent pricing for common changes. One person can easily manage hundreds of websites.

At the core, WebAsOne is not a website technology platform, but a website process streamlining platform, which is a flywheel platform. Currently, the blocks copiable design 200-page website features over 500 blocks. Adding a block design is straightforward. It can easily expand to 600 pages and include up to 10 WebAsOne blocks per page.

WebAsOne will continue to add mini app blocks, which include backend code. There are plenty of places to copy from or outsource to.

As for new website designs or mini-apps, being first to market is not the goal. Our goal is to provide similar features at a lower operational cost, and a lot lower.
